The heart of parallel solar technology is the vBoost converter module, which steps up the voltage output of a solar panel and creates a parallel connection to a constant-voltage bus. vBoost is available in 250-watt and 350-watt capacities, each of which is equipped with integrated cabling and connectors. They are compatible with a wide range of inverters, and their predictable, constant voltage enables the inverter to run at optimal efficiency.

The vComm Communication Module collects data from all vBoost modules in an array and relays it through an Internet connection for reporting and analysis using eIQ Energy’s Web-based Monitoring System software.
